There are diverse versions of additional enclosures for the ceiling installation loudspeaker CONO alto. The back-box is an extension which allows the loudspeaker to have its own resonant body.
This is especially the case when the CONO alto is installed in open ceiling sails or similar situations where the ceiling is not used as a resonator.
