1. Premise
This website uses cookies and this document provides information on the use and management of these, as well as information on how to disable cookies. By continuing on this website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this document.

2. Information about cookies
Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer when you visit a website. When you return to a website you have visited before, these cookies are sent back to that website. Italian law distinguishes the following two types of cookie (http://bit.ly/1xc6RXz):
a) “technical cookies” which are used for, among other things, authentication information, session recordings and storage of information on the website (certain operations on the website would not be possible without the use of technical cookies).
b) “profiling cookies”which permit the identification of user profiles and can be used to send personalised advertising. These cookies can also be further distinguished as “session” and “permanent” cookies. The former are automatically removed from your computer as soon as you close the browser, whereas the latter remain stored on your computer and are only removed when they reach their expiry date or are manually deleted.
Some cookies on websites come from third parties.

3. Cookies used on our website

3.1. Technical cookies
Technical cookies are used to guarantee the functionality of the Website. In particular we use the ASP.NET Session ID cookie, which generates a random number to identify the user session. This cookie, which is essential for the operation of the website, is deleted when the browser is closed.

3.2. Cookies from third parties

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses cookies to help analyse how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If a website has activated IP anonymisation, your IP address will be shortened by Google within European Union member states or in other European Economic Zone countries. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is then shortened. IP anonymization has been activated for this website.
Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities for the website operator and to supply further services in connection with the website and internet utilization. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, if this is permitted by law or where such third parties process the information on their behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser; we would like to point out, however, that should you do so, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the data about your use of the website (including your IP address) being generated by the cookie and transmitted to Google as well as the processing of these data by Google, by installing the following browser plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. To learn more about disabling cookies visit the Google Ads disabling pages at http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ or Network Advertising Initiative’s deactivation pages at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/.
Data collection and storage can be revoked at any time to take effect after that point. More information about Google’s terms can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Social Media: Facebook, Twitter
The website uses plugins of various social media third parties such as Facebook or Twitter. These plug-ins enable users to interact with the different social networks directly from the web page.
Once a user has clicked on one of the social media buttons while being logged in to their account, information about their stay on the website will be forwarded to the appropriate social media provider.  These can save the information and add it to the user’s profile. To prevent this from happening, the user must log out before clicking on the button.
Information on the use and processing of the data can be read in the privacy provisions of the relative social media providers:
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
Twitter: https://twitter.com/privacy?lang=en
Social media plugins install cookies on the website. These cookies collect, amongst other things, the following data: browser data, demographic data , interaction data , websites visited, time and date, IP address. To find out how the different social media providers deal with this information, follow these links:
