Novara, in the heart of Piemont, is known for its charming old town with historic architecture and vibrant flair. The surrounding region is equally famous for its long-standing wine culture. And right here, in the former Vittoria Theater, McFIT has opened a new chapter in fitness. Spread across three floors, training, community, and design merge into an experience that goes far beyond the ordinary.
For the first time in Italy, McFIT presents its new concept “The Original”: bold colors, modern design, and spaces that are both stylish and functional.
With “The Original”, McFIT is launching a strong modernization push. After pilot locations in Germany & Austria, the concept is now being rolled out to further studios – featuring bright spaces made of steel, concrete, and wood, inviting details such as ping pong tables, and clearly defined, generously designed areas for women. Elegant, functional, and future-oriented – every visit is meant to become a true experience.

McFit Novara: Sound as Part of the Design
NewTec Design : Audio was proud to be part of this outstanding project. A fully wireless audio system was installed, seamlessly integrated into the studio’s lighting tracks. Control is intuitive via our self-developed SMART Audio System – flexible and zone-based. This ensures that every area sounds perfectly tuned, from reception to the class rooms.
In addition to the SMARTplayer, this project also uses the SMARTstreamer. It allows audio signals to be distributed through the existing network to different areas of the building – even across long distances and always in perfect sync. The SMARTplayers then receive the stream and forward it wirelessly to our loudspeakers. The result: a consistent, room-filling sound experience, all easily managed via app or cloud.
Added Value for Members
Good sound is more than just background. It motivates in the training areas, creates a relaxed atmosphere in the lounge, and ensures clarity at the reception desk. Every detail is adapted to the specific training situation – making sound an essential part of the overall customer journey.
Microphone technology is also integrated into the system. Trainers can enhance their courses with clear speech transmission, while reception staff can make announcements. Additionally, different audio sources can be selected per area – from specific course music to background tracks in the locker rooms or reception. This ensures maximum flexibility and an optimal experience for all members.
Our 360° Technology
What makes our loudspeakers unique is the patented aluminum membrane in the shape of a cone (hence our CONO series). This special membrane distributes sound evenly in all directions – like an acoustic carpet without “dead spots.” The result: room-filling, crystal-clear sound, no matter where you stand.
